Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men. Dapoxetine is a class of medications known as serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It works by increasing the amount of serotonin in the brain, which helps delay ejaculation and increases sexual satisfaction for men. Indications

Dapoxetine belongs to a group of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Dapoxetine may also be used for the treatment of premature ejaculation in adult men (PE). Dapoxetine is indicated for the treatment of men with PE, the inability to get or maintain an erection at the time of sexual activity, and men with the following conditions:

• decreased or absent ejaculatory latency time
• decreased ejaculation frequency, severity and frequency of ejaculation disorder, premature ejaculation and premature ejaculation with ejaculatory delay, and ejaculation disorder with ejaculation disorder and delayed ejaculation in men
• anxiety
• a generalised inability to delay ejaculation
• depression
• generalised inability to delay ejaculation
• hypotension
• epilepsy
• men with a history of premature ejaculation
• premature ejaculation (PFE) and/or premature ejaculation with ejaculation disorder (PED) in men
• men with a history of PE (in men only) and/or premature ejaculation disorder (PED) in men

Dapoxetine is not intended for use in children under 18 years of age.

Contraindications

Dapoxetine is contraindicated in the following cases:

• children under 18 years of age
• men with clinically proven PE in the last 6 months of pregnancy
• PE associated with cardiac irregularities
• PFE (premature ejaculation) in men
• PE associated with anaphylactic reaction
• PE associated with premature ejaculation
• PE associated with sudden loss of vision
• PE associated with an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours (priapism).

Side Effects

The most common adverse reactions (incidence of more than 1 in 10,000) with dapoxetine are headache, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness and abnormal ejaculation. The incidence rates in men over the age of 18 are higher than those in men who are not taking medicines for premature ejaculation.

Warnings

Drug-Food Interactions:Do not take St. John’s wort (herbal supplement used to treat depression) while taking Dapoxetine. Avoid consuming grapefruit juice within 24 hours of taking Dapoxetine as it could lead to an increase in the level of Dapoxetine in the body.
